Fried Chicken

I usually just marinate for an hour and throw it in an air fryer.

Crispy Fried Chicken with golden brown coating

Ingredients

  • 500g chicken breast
  • 200g regular yogurt
  • 5g MSG
  • 3g black pepper
  • 2.5g sugar
  • 120g flour
  • 8g salt
  • 1.5g pepper
  • 2g garlic powder
  • 2g smoked paprika powder
  • 1g chilli powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breast into desired pieces.
  2. Mix yogurt, MSG, black pepper, and sugar in a bowl.
  3. Add chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for 1-12 hours.
  5. Mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and chilli powder in a separate bowl.
  6. Remove chicken from marinade and coat in the flour mixture.
  7. Preheat air fryer to 200°C.
  8. Place chicken in air fryer basket and cook for 15 minutes, flipping halfway.
  9. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
