Ingredients
- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 800g canned tomatoes
- 250ml red wine
- 250ml beef stock
- 2 bay leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lasagna sheets
- Béchamel sauce
- Mozzarella cheese
- Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot and sauté onions, carrots, and celery until soft.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add tomatoes, wine, stock, and bay leaves.
- Simmer for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Layer lasagna sheets, bolognese, béchamel, and cheeses in a baking dish.
- Bake for 45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Let rest for 15 minutes before serving.
