Ingredients
- 500g strong flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 7g dry yeast
- 325ml warm water
Instructions
- Mix flour with salt in a bowl.
- In a separate container mix yeast with lukewarm water (35 °C).
- Let the yeast activate for 10 minutes.
- Pour the water and yeast mixture into the bowl with flour and salt.
- First mix together with a spoon, then continue kneading by hand for at least 10 minutes. Add a bit of flour if needed, in case the dough is too sticky. Or use a stand mixer if you have one.
- Divide the dough into 4 pieces and let rest ideally for at least 24 hours in the fridge. Alternatively, you can let the dough rest for 2 hours in room temperature under a towel.
